Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for someone to grow their skills and their career as a Finance Business Partner at Auckland Transport. In this role, you will partner with the business by providing effective financial management, insight, and professional advice to leaders and business teams. You will also ensure access to critical financial information; provide commercially insightful financial advice; and proactively educate and challenge business leaders to understand and utilise this for decision-making, financial stewardship, and performance measurement against Auckland Transport and functional business plans.
Na tau rourou | What will you bring? As the candidate successful in the Finance Business Partner role, you have the perfect blend of Finance/Accounting and communication skills. Ideally, you will have a background in finance, business advisory, and/or accounting. You will also have:
Qualified accountant (CAANZ, CPA)Extensive experience in providing financial insight and advice in a large complex organisationProactive approach to relationship management and business partneringExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences effectivelyDue to the variety of stakeholders that you will interact with, it is essential that you have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. You will also be equipped with an incredible eye for detail and a natural ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
