Finance Assistant - 3 months Fixed Term | Greymouth Mo te tunga | About the role This position entails working closely with the Accounts Team within the Finance Department, to ensure accurate information is entered into the system.
This role requires you to work as a part of a kapa (team) to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for: Preparing all invoices for goods and services supplied by Health New Zealand West Coast | Te Tai o Poutini Ensuring accuracy of contract debtors balances in the ORACLE financial system.
Following up outstanding invoices to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.
Providing backup and assistance as required to other finance department staff.
This is a 3-month fixed term part-time (30 hours per week) position working Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm (hours can be negotiated at interview stage).
Based in Greymouth.

To be successful in this role, you should be adaptable, resilient and have a willingness to learn.
Experience in Accounts Receivable Good numerical and accurate keyboard skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated person who can relate well and work with a variety of people Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
