Finance Assistant

Totally Vets Group is a group of dynamic veterinary practices, providing services and products in the Manawatu, Tararua, Taumarunui, Levin and Horowhenua areas for companion animals, equine, and production animals.
We are looking for a Finance Assistant that can hit the ground running.
This role is based in our Feilding clinic working with our well-established finance team to ensure the smooth operation of our finance and payroll functions.
As the Finance Assistant, you will play a key role within our finance team.
Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the Accounts Receivable/Payable functions.
Assisting with month end duties.
Daily receipting and processing of bank deposits.
Manage accruals and pre-payments.
Process client and supplier rebates.
Support Payroll – IMS payroll.
Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years' experience in a finance role.
Skilled in using Excel.
Good reconciliation skills.
Accounts Receivable/Payable experience.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly organised, ability to prioritise.
A good knowledge of and experience using enterprise finance systems.
Sound problem solving with a drive to get to the heart of the problem.
A passion for building rapport and relationships across multiple stakeholders.
