We are seeking an experienced finance administrator to join our team. As we are a small team, we work closely together on all aspects of accounting and administration functions within the organisation. This includes all tasks contributing to financial reporting, including processing invoices and accounts payable, payroll processing, GST and PAYE returns, balance sheet reconciliations, departmental analysis, support for year-end audit, debtor management, and other analysis and reporting as required.
Ideally, applicants will have previous experience and a thorough understanding of the finance and administration function. A clear understanding of accounting principles is required, including the ability to interpret a balance sheet. They will have the natural ability to efficiently prioritise, manage workloads, and meet deadlines. The right person will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to take initiative to find solutions. This role requires a motivated and proactive person with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with internal and external parties. Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Some experience with an ERP system would be helpful.
