This will be a busy and dynamic role that will suit someone that enjoys variety and is willing to roll up their sleeves and contribute to enhancing our processes. The role involves accounts payable, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance standards are met, and supporting other finance operations where required.Our finance function has a team-based approach to their work and are committed to adding value to TOMRA by delivering high-quality, accurate financial results and information to internal stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesGeneral Ledger Maintenance: Process, maintain and reconcile assigned general ledgers, including bank, receivables, payables and prepaymentsSupplier and Intercompany Accounts: Process and reconcile suppliers' and intercompany accounts, including resolution of variances for an assigned portfolioInternal Liaison: Liaise with key internal departments on day-to-day basis to resolve discrepanciesSupplier Queries: Prompt resolution and response of supplier queries receivedExpense Management: Assist in the administration of expense management and travel systemsPolicy Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, procedures, and company policiesInvoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policiesVendor Payments: Schedule and prepare payments for vendors (e.g., through checks, EFT, or wire transfers) while maintaining good relationships with suppliersMonth-End Support: Provide month-end support for journal postingFinancial & Monthly Management Reporting: Assisting with the compilation of monthly management reports. Ensuring costs are correctly coded and providing analysis to cost centres as necessaryBudget Assistance: Support in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring expenditures align with the financial planBank & Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis and address any discrepancies or issues.
