The Opportunity
They are now looking for an energetic, results-driven Finance & Business Manager with a strong track record of meeting sales targets and providing expert financial advice to customers. Working closely with the Managing Director and the Sales Team, you will be responsible for promoting and structuring vehicle finance and insurance facilities that meet customer needs and offering additional assistance required to ensure a seamless sales process. With over 300 cars on site at any time (and many more en route to New Zealand), this is a busy role with excellent potential given sales projections for 2025 and beyond. Core responsibilities include:
Working in partnership with customers, providing expert financial advice and structuring vehicle finance and insurance facilities to meet their needs.
Serving customers in a manner that upholds the Christchurch European brand and fosters customer loyalty.
Demonstrating a willingness to support/facilitate the wider sales process (e.g., preparing vehicle sales agreements, maintaining knowledge of our stock).
Maintaining strong relationships with financial service providers, negotiating with professionalism and ensuring favourable outcomes for the company and our customers.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, consumer credit, and competitor offerings to ensure Christchurch European are market leaders.
About You
Results-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills, you will ideally have proven experience in automotive finance and insurance sales, the ability to meet or exceed sales targets, and high attention to detail, including the ability to produce accurate documentation. You will have a strong work ethic, be adept at balancing your time to ensure a positive customer experience (including meeting expected approval timeframes), and you will be comfortable lending a hand to support other areas of the business as required.
This role is critical for the continued growth and expansion of Christchurch European Ltd and offers the opportunity to be part of a fantastic team as well as a competitive base salary + commission. While the role is Monday – Friday, we would love it if you could make yourself available to work the occasional Saturday morning or be on call for some remote assistance if required.
