At FuseIT we work across systems, across vendors, to integrate data and deliver humanized digital experiences.As a Finance Administrator at FuseIT your mission is to work with the CFO to ensure smooth accounting and other back-office practices. This will include routine finance matters as well as ad hoc projects with the CFO and members of the Senior Leadership Team on other administrative matters.A typical day might include:Daily Financial Operations: Assist in managing daily financial transactions including, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the CFO in preparing routine financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and budget variance analysis.Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and databases in Xero, ensuring all entries are correct and up-to-date for reporting purposes.Budget Monitoring: Support the CFO in monitoring budget expenditures and preparing budget forecasts, identifying any discrepancies for further review.Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects initiated by the CFO or Senior Leadership Team, contributing administrative and analytical support as needed.Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and ensure smooth interdepartmental communication regarding financial policies and procedures.Compliance and Auditing: Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, preparing documentation for internal and external audits.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and administrative practices, implementing efficient solutions.Communication: Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries from internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses.Meeting Preparation and Support: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings with the CFO and Senior Leadership Team.A great match would have:Have worked extensively with Xero or similar accounting packages.Have a high degree of experience/skill with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel and Word.Be highly computer literate in general.Be a self-starter and confident to self-manage workloads and to deadlines.Minimum five years' experience in a similar role.Have a high level of professionalism and integrity.A track record of working independently on tasks and collaboratively with others to deliver projects.And as a bonus any of the following:Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting, business, or a related field.Minimum five years' experience in a similar role.Why consider working with us:We are taking on the world and growing.
