We celebrate the uniqueness of every individual – we are all different, and that's what makes us interesting.We are looking for a personable and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our vibrant and collaborative team following an internal promotion!In this role, you will support the Finance Manager in fulfilling the financial requirements of Hohepa, ensuring we have the necessary funds to provide a good life for the people we serve.You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Support Managers and the people we support, fostering strong relationships and quickly establishing trust.This role is 32 hours per week, and we're open to discussing flexible employment practices, including partial working from home and adaptive working hours.Duties include:Monitoring accounts inbox and phone for all internal and external communicationsInvoicing for transactions and internal billingBoard and Rent AgreementsWINZ MSD ManagementMonitor and process petty cashAdditional month-end Accounts Receivable processing and communicationsYear end audit assistanceFinance projects coordinationDonations tracking and processingDebt collectionAged debtor management and aged-RIBA follow upActively work alongside internal and external stakeholders whilst promoting Hohepa's valuesMinimum Requirements:Over 3 years of experience in a finance role within a medium to large-sized organisation.Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for effective data management.Confidence in using accounting software and managing data systems.Natural, positive approach that fosters strong relationships with a people-first mindset.Effective organisational and time management skills to keep tasks on track.Ability to thrive as a team player, bringing high energy and a passion for supporting others.Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Applications will close on January 5th, 2025; we may review all applications as they apply.Please note due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, our office will be closed from December 20th, and we will not be responding to any role enquiries and applications until our return on January 6th, 2025.Applicants must have a NZ full driver's licence and ability to work in New Zealand.Please note that the 90-day trial period will apply to any successful applicant who hasn't previously worked for Hohepa Canterbury.
