We are looking for a personable and enthusiastic Finance Administrator to join our vibrant and collaborative team following an internal promotion! In this role, you will support the Finance Manager in fulfilling the financial requirements of Hohepa, ensuring we have the necessary funds to provide a good life for the people we serve.
You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Support Managers and the people we support, fostering strong relationships and quickly establishing trust. You will become part of a dedicated team that is passionate about our work at Hohepa. This collaborative team is united by a shared purpose: to make a positive difference in people's lives.
This role is 32 hours per week, and we're open to discussing flexible employment practices, including partial working from home and adaptive working hours.
Duties included in this role are: Monitoring accounts inbox and phone for all internal and external communications
Invoicing for transactions and internal billing
Board and Rent Agreements
WINZ MSD Management
Monitor and process petty cash
Additional month-end Accounts Receivable processing and communications
Year end audit assistance
Finance projects coordination
Donations tracking and processing
Debt collection
Aged debtor management and aged-RIBA follow up
Actively work alongside internal and external stakeholders whilst promoting Hohepa's values
Minimum Requirements: You will have over 3 years of experience in a finance role within a medium to large-sized organisation.
You will possess a solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
You will demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for effective data management.
You will be confident in using accounting software and managing data systems.
You will bring a natural, positive approach that fosters strong relationships with a people-first mindset.
You will exhibit effective organisational and time management skills to keep tasks on track.
You will thrive as a team player, bringing high energy and a passion for supporting others.
You will communicate excellently, both verbally and in writing.
