Our client is a proud Northland business leader in commercial services for industrial sites and the hotel/accommodation sector. They have an opportunity for an experienced Finance & Administration Manager to join this team of over 70 dedicated team members, on a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover).
This role reports directly to the Directors and involves supervising one administrator. You'll play a vital role in managing day-to-day office operations and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive work environment.
Manage budgets and financial processes, including expense reporting and invoice processing.
Ensure compliance with third-party filing requirements.
Manage HR functions such as weekly payroll, onboarding, and personnel records maintenance and H&S.
Manage multiple databases and computer programs.
Actively participate in the Senior Leadership Team and provide board reporting as needed.

9-Day working fortnight, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, working a 4-day week every fortnight.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in Office Management or Finance roles within an SME.
Strong computer skills, including experience with Xero and payroll systems.
Passion for creating and enhancing systems and processes.
Proactive, self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
