RoleThe Analyst role is integral to the smooth back-office operation of the funds that 2040 Ventures manages, including reporting, compliance, capital raising, shareholder communications, and administration tasks, along with supporting other members of the 2040 Ventures team as required.The successful candidate should expect a wide variety of challenges as the needs of 2040 Ventures and the funds that it manages change, and as 2040 Ventures itself continues to grow.Skills and ExperienceWe are seeking highly capable and motivated candidates looking to work in the venture capital industry.
You should be articulate, detail-oriented, and possess excellent writing and numeracy skills.
You will have the ability to self-organize, make decisions, and deliver results.
Previous expertise and experience in the venture capital industry are not prerequisites for this role, as any necessary training will be given to the successful candidate.Other skills and experience that would be advantageous (but not necessary) include:Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel;Experience with accounting systems and audit processes;Previous administration and/or compliance-related experience; and/orDemonstrated work experience in a related field.Location2040 Ventures has offices in both Auckland and Te Anau, with this role based in Te Anau.ApplicationsWe strongly encourage applications from diverse candidates.
