About the Role: The FIL Area Sales Manager – Mid Canterbury reports to the South Island Sales Manager and is responsible for the development of the area, achieving sales of FIL products in line with the approved sales plan.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the approved sales program with a high level of customer satisfaction gauged by customer retention and build-up of the customer base.
Development and management of rural retailers is a key focus of this position, managing existing relationships and outcomes for customers, retailers and the company in line with expectations.
Skills and Qualifications: Highly developed sales skills with at least two years sales experience with proved excellent sales results and/or higher education qualification.
Affinity with and understanding of the agribusiness and farming sectors.
Technical knowledge of hygiene, markers, nutrition, milking equipment service and consumables requirements & specifications.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
The ability to develop, build and sustain a large network of key relationships.
Be able to demonstrate proactive planning and possess excellent organizational skills.
Possess a strong drive to achieve expected results with the ability to think and act strategically.
Place a solid focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Be a collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously.
Possess sound computer skills e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
