About the Role
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Rubicon Water's products at customer sites across New Zealand and our international locations. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel internationally. You will play a crucial part in ensuring high-quality service and a timely resolution of technical issues. The role is diverse in nature and will require strong technical and maintenance skills.
Responsibilities
Carry out field installation, repair and maintenance of various Rubicon products
Undertake fault diagnosis, testing, maintenance and modification as required to ensure safe and efficient operation
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
Follow instructions from designated Project Managers
Liaise with customers to discuss incident concerns or complaints, instigating corrective actions where required
Be available for overseas travel and the "support phone" roster
Qualifications & Experience Electrical background and experience is preferred
Experience with SCADA, PLC systems, Radio and Telemetry systems an advantage
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer skills, and the use of software applications
Demonstrate exceptional time management, organisational and relationship building skills
Willingness to learn and develop within the role
Possess a strong work ethic
