The Field Technician will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment and machinery on-site. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical troubleshooting, understands the urgency of repairs, and can work independently in various field conditions.

Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, and machinery at job sites and customer locations.Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and knowledge of systems.Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime and extend machine life.Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all repairs and maintenance.Respond promptly to emergency service calls to minimize equipment downtime.Communicate with internal teams to ensure repairs are understood and completed efficiently.Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures while working on equipment in the field.Keep tools and service vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring they are organized and well-maintained.Assist with ordering parts and materials as needed for repairs and maintenance. Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Field Technician or in a similar role with heavy equipment.Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in earthmoving equipment, trucks, and other machinery.Self-motivated and able to work independently in various field conditions.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members.Physical ability to perform tasks in field conditions, including lifting, bending, and working in varying weather. Preferred: Certification in heavy diesel mechanics or a related field.Previous experience in construction or earthmoving industries.Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
