You will enjoy a high energy, dynamic and fast-paced role, which requires the ability to provide professional team training and supervision during kiwifruit season alongside year round field work. You will need be organised and adaptable as this role varies like the season.This is a part-time permanent role with a guarantee of 17.5 hours a week year round, however in the months of Autumn/Summer hours will increase to fulltime to meet the demands on the business:Summer/Autumn – Kiwifruit season – Full-time focusing on leading a field team of 10, training, kiwifruit pest monitoring and kiwifruit collection for testing. These programs run alongside the year round programs.Winter/Spring – Part-time focussing on avocado and lemon pest monitoring programs and supporting the Northland Operations Manager with annual reviews and planning.You will need to develop relationships quickly, as we pride ourselves on having returning staff year on year.
