We put Health & Safety at the forefront of what we do, and we are looking for a Field Services Manager who shares our passion for safety and innovation.About the RoleBased in Auckland (Northshore), as our Field Services Manager, you will be the crucial conduit between our customers, sales team, engineering team, and contractors, planning and coordinating the installation of our devices.Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a critical role for our continued business growth. You'll ensure that customers' requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all, coordinating our team of contractors and engineers to deliver high quality installations while embracing a culture of quality and innovation.This role involves project planning, resource coordination, budget management, and post-installation User Acceptance Testing onsite with the customer to validate the installations. The role is hands-on; you will receive training to learn how to install our hardware on heavy machinery, and then train and supervise our Contractors and Service Engineers on how to deliver a high-quality installation.Working closely with our partners and customers, you'll take pride in your work and demonstrate leadership to ensure that our systems and customer experience exceed expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with our Sales Team on solution scope and confirm implementation timelines.Ensure superior customer satisfaction through regular client interactions and project reviews.Travel onsite as required pre and post installations to streamline installations and provide quality assurance.Lead teams of contractors, assign tasks, and manage schedules to meet deadlines.Provide technical and customer advice, ensuring successful project outcomes.Monitor project costs and progress, ensuring profitability and efficiency.What we Offer YouA challenging and rewarding role with opportunities for professional growth.The chance to work on diverse Enterprise level projects with a talented and motivated team.A supportive environment that values your expertise and encourages continuous learning.Training and mentoring to bring out the best of your abilities.A competitive salary reflecting the criticality of the role.A vehicle allowance.About You:Minimum of three years' experience managing field installations of equipment.Relevant experience fixing hardware or trade skills such as electrical engineering or similar.A good knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts. Our SonaSafe sonar devices require drilling and fixing to heavy machinery and wiring to the machine power source and handbrake sensors, and then connecting to the internet to access updated firmware and config files.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.A good communicator, friendly, and self-motivated.Drive, tenacity, innovation (creative) and a "can do" attitude.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Able to delegate and influence others.A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required by air and vehicle as necessary.Conducting installation verifications, field service, and routine maintenance checks and inspections.Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize machine downtime.Ensuring all parts (to machine specifications) are ordered and in stock locally prior to commencing installations.Make efficiency and maintenance recommendations to our Engineering Team (R&D) pre- and post-installation to continually improve the reliability and performance of SonaSafe Systems.Documenting installation activities on our device monitoring software.Providing on-site training to Contractors and Clients on proper equipment usage, maintenance, and safety procedures.Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
