About the role This is a permanent, fulltime role based in Auckland and will see you out and around the region stretching from Pokeno to Whangarei, travelling to support our teams in the field performing both planned and non-scheduled repairs on a large range of both mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklifts.
There is a significant number of different models within these two categories ensuring you have the opportunity to really develop and increase your skills. What will you be doing? Performing field based planned maintenance repairs on mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklift trucks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Performing field based non-scheduled repairs on mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklift trucks.
Provide a high level of customer service and work towards set KPIs each day Undertaking service and repairs within OEM guidelines Requirements About you Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years' Material Handling Equipment experience or Auto Electrical, Diesel or Motor Mechanic experience or trade qualification or hydraulics experience (or similar overseas qualification).

You'll work in a collaborative team environment, so being a team player and being prepared to support the team is essential.
Being IT savvy and an agile learner will stand you in good stead.
You will also need to be able to travel with regular overnight stays for periods of time.
Please note, a full pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol test, as well as valid drivers' license will be required.
In addition, as part of your initial training you must be able to travel to Australia (NZ passport or the eligibility to obtain an AUS visa).
Preference will be given to local candidates with suitable skills.
