About us: Espresso Mechanics stands as a premier provider of coffee equipment, spare parts, and top-notch service. Our operations are centred around The Roastery at 23, where UCC Coffee NZ roasts some of our iconic coffee brands. With extensive global connections, we continuously explore exciting opportunities and tap into a wealth of innovative minds and superior resources.
About the role: Due to internal movement, we have an exciting new vacancy. As our Field Service Technician, you won't just be working on any machines – you'll be diagnosing, repairing, and servicing the coffee machines that create the perfect brew. Every day you'll be on the frontline, delivering the best in customer service, supporting our sales team, and helping our customers in the region.
Your technical knowledge will be key as you pre-test machines for sale, fault-find high-level equipment failures, and provide feedback on recurring faults. We value teamwork and encourage individuals who are curious about improving processes.
You'll play a role in on-going training of our Sales and Helpdesk Teams and providing technical assistance to our network of Service Agents. Availability for on-call support on a rotating roster is essential.
Who we are looking for? To excel in this role, you should be a natural problem solver and an effective communicator while providing field support. Attention to detail and timeliness are equally important. While an EST license is highly desirable, we also welcome candidates with an EAS license and a full clean driver's license. Even if you don't have a background in the coffee industry, we'd like to hear about your transferable skills that set you up for success.
This full-time position is based in our Auckland region and at our Allens Road workshop. We offer unlimited coffee, recharge leave, and continuous learning opportunities.
Please note that an MOJ clearance will be required for consideration in this role.
Why join us? Joining our business means immersing yourself in the world of coffee and leveraging exciting learning opportunities across our Australia and New Zealand UCC business. Our commitment to your growth includes career development, coffee, and a focus on your wellbeing, offering "recharge leave" which is five additional days annually to recharge in your preferred way.
