You'll specifically be supporting an experienced team of site service technicians, battery technicians and Paxster technicians across the Auckland region. You'll be responsible for assisting in the achievement of the annual Auckland financial and operational service targets, PMP completion and proactively engaging with our customers to ensure that we are exceeding their expectations across quality of service, response times and product performance.As a Field Service Manager, you'll be required to proactively manage the productivity and resourcing of the team in your remit across the Auckland region, carry out technician engagement and tech connect, ensuring that they work together with our customers and support them to keep their businesses on the go! You will also work closely with the Sales team to ensure that we are focused on customer retention and satisfaction across the region.You'll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the business and the organisation. Crown product knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you're a willing learner!This is a permanent, full time role, working Mondays to Fridays.RequirementsAbout youSuccess in this role is about leading successfully, and whilst product and industry knowledge is important and an automotive qualification (motor mechanic, diesel mechanic or auto electrical) is required, relationship and leadership skills are what we're looking for and prior experience in leading top performing teams is essential. Your general business acumen will be a great advantage in maximising the profitability of your workshop, through maintaining budget alignment and actively seeking out opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.With a collaborative management style, you will know how to get the best out of people and will enjoy seeing others grow and succeed. You'll model a strong customer service culture and build and foster positive relationships between the branch team and the sales team in the region, to ensure high level service delivery. Essentially, your can-do, customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude will pave the way to your success and the success of your team and function.
