OverviewWe currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our New Zealand/Queensland team, based in Auckland.As part of the NZ field service team, reporting to the Field Service Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for servicing all Bio-Rad Life Sciences (LSG) and Clinical Diagnostics (CDG) instruments at customer sites around New Zealand. An important component of this role is to provide front line technical and application support to internal / external stakeholders as well as assist in building customers' confidence and networking with Bio-Rad. You may also be required to travel to Australia and other overseas locations to assist with service support, training or other duties.How You'll Make an Impact:Perform quality preventative maintenance and remedial repairs in the field and at our 'back to base' centre, across Bio-Rad's range of LSG and CDG instruments.Ensure all service work is performed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.Be available to travel at short notice within New Zealand (and overseas when required).Maintain good customer relationships.Ensure that the Company achieves its customer satisfaction KPIs at all times.Meet territory service goals and objectives.Complete all Work Orders and all administrative duties diligently and in a timely manner.Ensure tools and test equipment are kept in a professional manner.Report any non-compliances or customer dissatisfaction promptly to the Technical Service Team Leader.Embrace the Bio-Rad quality philosophy.Performing other duties as required.What You Bring:Degree / Diploma in Engineering preferred (Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical)Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics or Biomedical service IndustryExcellent spoken and written EnglishExcellent interpersonal communication and proven customer relationship building skillsDemonstrated initiative, good organisation and planning skillsStrong team orientationProblem solving ability and results drivenHigh level of skills in computer literacy and software usageCurrent drivers license valid in New Zealand.If you have experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this role, we encourage you to apply.
