We are seeking a Field Service Engineer for BMS controls in Waikeria at Honeywell Building Automation (BA) team . This role is responsible for the operation and optimization of the installed Honeywell software solutions that control the sites BMS functionality. You will be responsible for the Energy management of the third-party HVAC solution and will be responsible to drive any engineering, configuration, implementation, commissioning and ongoing support/maintenance and upgrades that may be required of all Operational Technology (OT), Enterprise Applications and Connected Services delivered into the service Line of Business (LOB).

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain deployed Control Systems, typically using Honeywell Comfort Point and EBI

Provide HVAC and BMS systems support and be the first contact for all issues

Implement ongoing maintenance using Honeywell Tools and processes

Provide input for constant improvement of processes

Customer reporting and meeting planned service requirements and KPI's

Work comfortably with wide variety of industrial plants and applications as applicable to control systems

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Qualification or degree in technical discipline either in Automation, Instrumentation, Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in BMS controls/programming

Proficient experience in HVAC and BMS systems

Knowledgeable in BACnet/Modbus and Comfort Point systems is ideal

Programming experience for system optimization and system efficiencies

A knowledge of Honeywell's hardware and software capabilities is highly advantageous

Understanding of industrial work culture

Exceptional PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft software

Good communication skills (oral and written) in English
