Our Field Officers connect campaign and organising strategies within their region to support members' industrial and professional goals.
Tasks are varied and include:
Planning for regular contact and visibility for your assigned worksites/member groups
Developing leaders from within membership
Using knowledge of education sector or union organising to support members
In this role you will learn a lot about how organising and campaigning is converted into activity in the field. This role involves regular travel around Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
