Our client is looking for 6 new team members to be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth
Initial training will be held in Auckland for 3 months, before you relocate to Australia in early February 2025.

What debt do they collect?
They collect debt on behalf of companies who lack the time, skillsets, or processes to ensure smooth, positive results. They have a commitment to socially responsible processes, so that the process of collecting a debt becomes a win/ win situation for their clients and debtors.
They are currently seeking 6 motivated and hard-working people to join their Field based Debt Management teams based in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth.
The Role: These are field-based roles, where you will be visiting people who owe debts, to negotiate payment arrangements. You will be visiting these customers in their homes and will sit down with them and put together a weekly payment arrangement, that they can afford, to start paying their debt back.
Being in debt sucks. It creates a whole pile of stress that no one wants. Lots of people have experienced debt and getting on the road to becoming debt free can be life changing. A really positive thing. So, for those who have some empathy and can communicate with all walks of life, this could be an immensely fulfilling new career.
About you:
Gone are the days when Debt Collectors were big, tough, scary looking dudes. (And no offense to those who are…we still want you to apply).
But we are looking for those who work hard, enjoy a fast-paced role, who like to be active, like to be in the field, rather than in the office. Those who can be independent and are really self-motivated and those who enjoy talking to people, all day, every day….and they certainly don't want to hire any slackers.
And you have to be a good sort…. kind, respectful, positive, empathetic….and the type who can talk to anyone.
However, if you are fragile, sensitive, timid, nervous, or haven't got a thick skin, this probably isn't going to be the position for you. This role will involve knocking on the doors of strangers, to arrange payment plans, so this sort of work must be in your comfort zone.
The Hours: The hours are long (and not negotiable). You will be out in the field on Mon – Thurs, from 9am – 8pm. On Friday you will knock off earlier at 5pm. That is 47 hours a week.
While we encourage applications from those with previous Field based Debt Collection experience, we are also open to applications from those without industry experience, that this advert has resonated with. (Preferably those have come from another field-based role, e.g. door to door sales).

Able to follow industry compliance – This is super important…. They ALWAYS follow the industry rules and regulations. No cowboys!
A clean criminal record.
A current driver's license and passport.
Ability to be able to travel for periods of up to a week, regularly.
Enthusiasm to earn a high income and the drive to make this happen.
The desire to move to Australia and live in and work in Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth.
Extensive training will be held in Auckland, up to the end of January, to equip you with all the tools that you will need. You will start work with your team in Australia in early February.
Again… the hours on Mon – Thurs …are long and these hours may prevent you from sports practice, hobbies and tucking your kids in at night. So, really think about this before you apply.
And while the hours are long, the rewards are seriously great! $150K - $200K within 2-3 years. Remuneration & Benefits: To start…. A base salary of $85K, plus super, company car and bonuses & commissions are on offer. The on-target earnings in your first year are circa $110K. But you will earn a lot more in your 2nd year and 3rd year. (Experienced Debt Managers are earning $200K ++). There are not many jobs that you can earn this amount so quickly, without years of training behind you.
