As a Field Assurance Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Powerco's service providers meet the highest standards in safety, quality, and compliance. What You'll Be Doing Enhancing Standards: Evaluate Powerco's operational standards and provide insightful feedback to improve their effectiveness.Field Oversight: Conduct site inspections across substations, overhead/underground lines, and construction sites to assess compliance with safety protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.Risk Management: Identify hazards, assess risks, and collaborate with service providers to develop actionable solutions.Building Expertise: Lead training programs to enhance safety, quality, and risk management skills across teams.Fostering Growth: Mentor and coach field teams to support their professional development.Driving Assurance: Regularly review service providers' safety, quality, and competency systems to ensure compliance with industry best practices.This role requires travel to various worksites, including occasional overnight stays.
What You'll Bring to the Team Industry Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in the electricity distribution sector, with a focus on field operations and safety.Qualifications: Current or prior electrical trade certification/registration in generation, distribution, or engineering (or equivalent).Skills:Deep understanding of electricity distribution systems and processes.Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, standards, and safety protocols.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with safety equipment and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.Prior auditing experience (preferred).Other Requirements: A full driver's license is essential.Why You'll Love Working Here At Powerco, we're not just about powering homes and businesses – we're about empowering people.
