This position is vital to our organization, and while we are not actively hiring for them at this moment, your expression of interest will help us build a talent pool of skilled professionals.Overall Responsibilities:The Field Asset Validation Technician will be responsible for ensuring site-based validation activities for client assets are completed safely, as per schedule, and to a high quality.
They will contribute to the success of the broader work management initiative by applying their technical and practical expertise within the field validation team to deliver high quality outputs and reporting on progress.Technical Capabilities:Experience in asset data verification, collection, and analysis techniquesExperience in the mining and resources sectorA maintenance or engineering (Mech/Elec) background in Fixed Plant Processing would be advantageousUnderstanding of Master Data Standards and ProcessesAdvanced Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge is desirableKey Areas of Responsibility:Positively support the culture to ensure a safe, productive, quality, sustainable and disciplined approach to workFacilitate workshops, focus group discussions and one-on-one sessions with key site stakeholders to gather information required to meet project deliverablesPerform field asset data validations with photographic supporting evidence and capturing all required asset characteristicsEngage key site stakeholders to resolve issues and challenges regarding field validation activitiesAssist with planning for asset data validation activities by:Logically grouping assets by areas and asset classes to facilitate collection efficienciesReconciling various asset lists to ensure all relevant assets are identified and validatedCreating and maintaining punch listsSupporting in the quality deliverables & timely delivery of projects and reportsCultivating positive relationships through effective communication, feedback, and consultationAccepting accountability for performance by ensuring quality of tasks, services, and adviceSupporting continuous improvement of systems and processes that are core to enabling effectiveness and efficiency.Necessary skills:The ideal candidate will be able to display the following necessary skills:Demonstrable commitment to safety in the workplaceGood communications and stakeholder engagement skills with the capability to impart knowledge to colleagues in a clear and concise mannerThorough and methodical in their approach to delivering on their commitmentsProactive "can do" approach in identifying potential problems and implementing solutions with team membersGood knowledge in Asset Management and Maintenance principlesEnjoys focusing on and following set processes as well being able to challenge those processes that do not promote sustainability in the businessBenefits and perks:Unique company culture focused on building interpersonal relationshipsCareer and personal development coursesFlexible working environmentCompetitive salaryHealth InsuranceWork-Life balanceRewards & RecognitionCyient is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
