Great opportunity to learn from the best in the business!Expected commencement February 2025.Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity We have a Clinical Fellowship fixed-term, full-time position available with our Adult Congenital Cardiology team for a period of 12 months starting in February 2025. By mutual agreement, an extension may be possible for up to a further year at the end of this period. This position offers the opportunity for sub-speciality training in Adult Congenital Heart Disease with an expectation of involvement in clinical research.
Our Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) service is a part of Te Toka Tumai and is based at Auckland City Hospital, which is a 700 bed university teaching hospital. The Paediatric & Congenital Cardiac Service (PCCS) is the national provider of Paediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in New Zealand, providing services to the people of Auckland as well as national services for ACHD surgical and complex ACHD medical patients.
Auckland City Hospital is the largest in New Zealand and is based in the heart of Auckland City. The city is set in a pristine marine-based environment with a temperate climate and has a population of 1.3 million. It has a vibrant mixture of lifestyles and cultures and offers easy access to stunning and diverse scenery and a wonderful range of outdoor pursuits.
As an ideal candidate, you will be nearing the completion of your training in Adult or Paediatric Cardiology with an interest in the subspecialty of adult congenital heart disease. You must have or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Other requirements for the role include:
