We prioritize the growth and development of our staff, offering a supportive and enriching work environment.About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our teams in Gisborne and Wairoa. This role focuses on sheep and beef vetting, with the added benefit of city living comforts. You will also work with farm dogs and other animals as needed. The Gisborne team consists of 3 vets, while Wairoa has 4 vets with a range of experience from 3 to 30 years.Key Responsibilities:Deliver urgent medical, surgical, and nursing services.Assess and diagnose presenting problems; recommend and undertake treatment options.Perform routine elective surgeries and promote immunization programs.Collaborate with MPI on communicable diseases and animal welfare issues.Refer animals to specialists as needed and provide detailed medical records.Initiate wellness programs and advise on diet and exercise.Collaborate with farmers on sustainable animal production.Desired Skills and Qualifications:Veterinary degree and relevant certifications.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.Strong clinical skills and knowledge.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Commitment to ongoing professional development.Benefits:Competitive salary up to $140,000 based on experience.Phone, laptop, car provided.How to Apply:To register your interest, click the apply now button or call Shannon on 021 319 800 for a confidential discussion.
