Farm Manager - Lora Station

Lora Station is an 1800ha family-owned farming business in Central Southland, located 30 minutes from both Winton & Gore. This hill country sheep and beef farm comprises of9000stock units, consisting of Romdale ewes and Angus cattle. We are seeking an enthusiastic Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and planning, as well as the strategic direction of the farm. Requirements: Experience managing a sheep and beef farmAnimal welfare and feed budgeting skills. Goodknowledge ofFarm Health and Safety.A team of good working dogsA drive to improve farms performanceHigh standard of workmanship and attention to detailExcellent communicationAbility to lead others (1-2 staff members)Maintenance and continuous improvement of farm infrastructureCapacity to use and implement farm technologyEnvironmental ManagementAs the Farm Manager at Lora Station, you will report to the Farm Owners on a monthly basis, as well as work with a farm advisor to maximise on farm performance.
