Farm Manager

A Farm Manager is required for a 1150 cow enterprise approximately 20 minutes from Palmerston North.
The Farm Manager will manage 6 staff members.
The operation is split calving with a winter milk contract of 500 kg milk solids per day.The successful applicant will have top pasture management skills focusing on feed grown and harvested.
Additionally, the position requires excellent staff management to obtain the best from the team.A good five-bedroom house is available for the successful applicant.The farm consists of a 450 hectare flat to gently rolling milking platform.
It is a medium input farm (DairyNZ system three), utilizing pasture silage, maize silage, and palm kernel.
