Farm Egg Collector Otaki 4 Month Contract

Job Title: Egg Collection PositionWe are looking for fit, reliable persons to join our awesome Otaki Farm team here at NZ Egg Group.This is a 4-month contract position based in Otaki, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role. The job offers a minimum wage of $23.70 per hour.Work Schedule:6am - 3pm, 4 days on, 2 days off.Responsibilities:Hand collecting eggs off the belt.Going into sheds with chickens to collect floor eggs (bending/lifting required).Handling chickens and performing cleaning duties.Standing and walking throughout the day.Driving a forklift.This is a physically demanding job where you will be required to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift. You must be comfortable working in a poultry shed with up to 10,000 birds, collecting eggs from the floor, and checking feed and water.Requirements:Full driver's license and ability to drive a manual vehicle.No prior experience needed; full training will be provided with an immediate start.Perk:Able to take 1 tray of eggs home per week.The successful applicant may be subject to a drug test pre-employment.
