We are looking for fit, reliable persons to join our awesome Otaki Farm team here at NZ Egg Group.We have a 4-month contract position based in Otaki.The Egg Collection Job Consists of:4 days on, 4 days offEgg collection: hand collecting off the beltGoing into sheds with chickens, collecting floor eggs (Bending/Lifting)LiftingHandling chickensStanding and walking all dayCleaningAble to drive a forkliftThis is a physical job, and you will be standing, walking, and lifting all day.You need to be comfortable going into a poultry shed with up to 10,000 birds, picking up any eggs that are laid on the floor, checking feed and water, and handling any birds.We are looking for a fit, positive, forward-thinking person who is happy with a varied work environment.Full License and the ability to drive a manual vehicle are also a must!No prior experience needed; full training will be provided with an immediate start.Perk:Able to take 1 tray of eggs home a week.The successful applicant may be subject to a drug test pre-employment.
