Farm Egg Collector Otaki 4 Month Contract

Job Title: Egg Collection Position We are looking for fit, reliable persons to join our awesome Otaki Farm team here at NZ Egg Group.
This is a 4-month contract position based in Otaki, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role. The job offers a minimum wage of $23.70 per hour.
Work Schedule:
6am - 3pm, 4 days on, 2 days off.
Responsibilities:
Hand collecting eggs off the belt.
Going into sheds with chickens to collect floor eggs (bending/lifting required).
Handling chickens and performing cleaning duties.
Standing and walking throughout the day.
Driving a forklift.
This is a physically demanding job where you will be required to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift. You must be comfortable working in a poultry shed with up to 10,000 birds, collecting eggs from the floor, and checking feed and water.
Requirements:
Full driver's license and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
No prior experience needed; full training will be provided with an immediate start.
Perk:
Able to take 1 tray of eggs home per week.
