Based near Taumaranui, near the banks of the Whanganui River, we are excited to partner with King Country Petfood to find an Accountant for their growing enterprise-level business.Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will have you working closely with the wider finance and administration team. You will be providing strong direction in the financial operations of the business, ensuring all accounting requirements comply with IFRS, taxation legislation, and company requirements at all levels. Working collaboratively with your colleagues and across departments will be essential for this position.To be successful in this position you will have strong accounting skills, a desire to drive excellence across the business, and an analytical mindset. You will bring to the table a breadth of knowledge across different systems and understand both New Zealand and international financial regulations. The parent company is listed on the China Stock Exchange, so you will be required to work closely with overseas counterparts. We are looking for someone who can motivate and bring a good energy to the wider finance team.
