Family Therapy Worker - Intensive Case Management, Christchurch Stand Childrens Services Tu Maia Whanau Christchurch , 1 position, 32 hours/week.
This position would suit Family Therapists and professionals in psychology, counselling, or social work looking to develop deeper therapeutic work. We offer full training in Family Therapy, Theraplay, TF-CBT, and other modalities.
Applicants should possess skills in building therapeutic relationships and have a good awareness of working in a trauma-informed way through an attachment lens, child development, and the importance of working systemically.
Stand Tu Maia supports tamariki who live with whanau or are in care, are vulnerable to cumulative harm, and have complex needs. Responsibilities will include working with a variety of cultures, including Maori and Pacifica, and all staff are expected to demonstrate cultural humility and a commitment to the restoration of whanau as a form of Te Tiriti redress, valuing Te Ao Maori.
Professional supervision, both internally and externally, is valued and provided. You will have:
The ability to work independently, utilizing tools and theories to inform practice.
A high standard of literacy demonstrated in case recording, assessment, analysis, and child and family plan documentation.
A full driver's licence.
Professional registration and, where applicable, a current practicing certificate.
