Look no further! WellSouth is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Health Care Professional with a current New Zealand practicing certificate (Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist) to join our Falls and Fracture Prevention Team in the role of a Coordinator based at our Dunedin office.

The Falls and Fracture Prevention Team deliver an innovative "whole of system" approach to reduce the incidences of falls and fractures for older adults in our region. This is a nationally led evidence-based system approach with a long-term sustainability and local integrated approaches to falls prevention and fragility fracture identification.
About you:
Hold a current Full New Zealand drivers' licence.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
Have a relevant qualification, professional registration, and valid New Zealand practicing certificate.
Have a proven track record of working closely with primary and secondary care clinicians and community groups.
Can deliver strength and balance exercise programmes and other identified interventions to our elderly population.
Be part of an integrated system-wide falls prevention strategy to reduce falls, fractures, and harm from falls for older people.
Be able to increase confidence in living independently and reduce fear of falling for our elderly population.
Increase the understanding of the value of preventing falls and fractures for health providers and others.

5 weeks annual leave after two years.
