Faculty Administration Manager

The Faculty Administration Manager role is to ensure efficient, organised, and synchronized administrative processes to fulfil the requirements of both the institution and the faculty. Offer strategic direction to the Faculty and Institute in crucial performance domains. Oversee the timely and precise dissemination of information and lead the secretarial team in providing support to students, academic staff, and Heads of School. The appointing salary for this role will be between $85,000 to $95,000, depending on skills and experience. The Faculty Administration Manager is based at our EIT | Te Pukenga Taradale campus reporting to the Executive Dean of Technology and Commerce and will be responsible for:  Monitor the administration section workflow and adjust staffing resources as appropriate. Assist with forecasting and monitoring Equivalent Full Time Students (EFTS) and provide advice to Heads of Schools on EFTS management. Train and coach staff in the proper use of computer applications and be the faculty's key user role for those applications. Ensure administration staff have the resources necessary to provide a quality service to the faculty. Oversee the recording and reporting of unit standard results to NZQA. To be successful in this role you will have: Ability to provide leadership in the development of complex administration systems. Experience in staff leadership. Planning, organising and prioritising ability. Financial management, preparation, reporting and analysis.
