About the role: In this exciting role, the Faculty Academic Lead will provide effective leadership on a suite of programmes including health, early childhood, pharmacy and plenty more!
You will ensure these programmes are well developed with the utmost quality and that these programmes consistently run across all campuses.
You will inspire tutors and ensure the needs of the student and industry are met.
This role has the flexibility to work from home on some days of the week.
In this role, your key performance areas will be to: Manage and maintain the programme portfolio Manage, Monitor and Review the Academic Delivery of Programmes Work collaboratively as part of the product team with links through to the quality team, WDC, NZQA and stakeholders Support and Apply the Values of the Organisation About you: You are a people person who is committed and inspired to design, develop and influence curriculum that is taught to ensure students are set up for success when they go out into industry.
Your exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships with staff and stakeholders will be the key to your success.
You'll be working with the likes of NZQA, the Workforce Development Council and other stakeholders so confidence and professionalism is a must!
Ideally, you will have experience in the health industry but if not you need to be smart and willing to learn.
Your portfolio will include health products but will evolve to include other subject areas as our team creates new programmes within new verticals.
Exceptional written and verbal English skills (native or near-native English speaker) are necessary as you'll be writing programme applications, updating and revising programmes and presenting information to stakeholders.
We need a dynamic, time-efficient and positive team member who is dedicated to producing top quality work.
You must be flexible and think in 'colour' not black and white!
The ability to be agile is vital in this role – things can change at the drop of a hat!
