Factory Operations Manager

Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Ensure all staff & contractors are inducted onsite and inducted to run each machine, making sure contractors are actively aware of and obeying AGVANCE H&S Policies and best practices.
Provide leadership and collaborate with the Office Staff to ensure the production schedule and delivery expectations are achievable every day.
Manage & ensure the published cleaning schedule is followed to ensure a clean, tidy & safe working environment for all staff.
Ensure all operational activities are completed in line with KPI expectations and company procedures.
Lead and support the teams as needed to maximise staff and efficiencies onsite.
Ensure all machinery has a maintenance programme that is being followed to ensure safe use and minimise risks of injury and machinery breakdowns.
Ensure RM and FG stock is maintained to a high degree of accuracy onsite.
Ensure all Quality control procedures are followed, signed off & filed with the Office Admin team.
Other Responsibilities:
Must deliver weekly & monthly reporting as required.
Participation in HS forums (weekly/ monthly) as required.
Schedule and document formal Tool Box talk/ regular catch-ups with operational team.
Complete formal quarterly reviews with direct reports (using PDR format).
Use SMART system for setting performance goals & targets.
Comply with & ensure all other staff & contractors are actively aware of and obeying AGVANCE H&S Policies and best practices.
Keeping site clean of product spills and rubbish.
Make sure rubbish bins are filled onsite before collection.
Be proactive in identifying any hazards in the workplace – and making management aware of these.
Respect the Agvance Factory team environment and be a part of the positive culture.
Use initiative when problems arise.
Read and be aware of all company policies.
