We currently have an exciting opportunity within Nestle Purina PetCare for a Factory Controller to join the Factory Leadership Team at our Marton Factory.
You will support the Factory Manager as a trusted co-pilot within the Factory Leadership Team on a day-to-day basis as well as on a long-term strategic view. You will provide visibility around costs related to the factory processes through the driving of relevant analysis and reporting to ensure adherence to financial legal requirements and NAS.
A day in the life…Reporting to the Factory Finance Manager, key responsibilities of this role include:
Leading strategic financial analysis for decisions related to factory operations ensuring full transparency of costs and non-financial implications.Performing financial simulations, product costings & estimates and CAPEX evaluations.Managing the overall factory budget with the factory management team and being the critical liaison between factory and Head Office.Managing factory reporting of actuals and forecasts and investigating daily, weekly and monthly variances.Preparing, publishing and performing analysis of financial KPI data, and transferring this knowledge to relevant stakeholders in order to promote understanding.Challenging assumptions for cost improvements in factory based on internal and external benchmark information on factory performance and costs.Identifying and driving cost improvement opportunities, and actively contributing to factory improvement projects and initiatives.Acting as the Compliance & Audit Champion, performing routine audit activities to ensure compliance on critical areas and appropriately escalate business risks.What will make you successfulJoining a collaborative team, you will be a strong leader with a history of delivering results in a high-pressure environment.You have the demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced changes.You will be Degree qualified in Business / Finance and/or Accountancy.You will have strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.Have advanced excel skills and experience working with SAP will be an advantage.
