Factory Assistant

We are growing at a fast rate of knots and are looking to add to our crew of Loco homies here in Martinborough, South Wairarapa. We need more people to help get product out the door, plus we have new products in the wings. We are looking for people who have some experience in:
• Food Manufacturing.
• Factory and Machine Cleaning.
We have casual, permanent part-time, or full-time hours available. We have 2 shifts from 8 am - 4:30 pm, with our operations running from 7 am-6 pm Monday to Friday. Hours will be specified on a rostered basis, with potential for 16-40 hours a week.
We are a small family-owned factory that is very busy, so we need our people to be versatile and able to perform a number of different tasks, which include:
Cooking food
Food prep
Cleaning
Packing
Heavy lifting (20kg max)
Loading inwards and outwards goods
Skills and Experience:
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 20kgs.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours).
Experience in food preparation or food manufacturing preferred but not essential.
Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
A good work ethic.
Good sense of humour.
A valid full or restricted NZ driver's license.
Good time management and the ability to multi-task.
Reliable & flexible to change.
NZ resident or an approved to work in NZ VISA applicants only.
