This gorgeous aged care facility is a home away from home, a close-knit community needing a talented motivated Facility Manager in Napier. It is a medium sized facility with 45 beds across Rest Home, Hospital, Respite and Palliative care. This opportunity allows you to bring your skills and experiences to an aged care company that truly values your contribution.
Your role will include leading a dedicated team to provide outstanding care and hospitality. Oversee the assessment of residents' health and care needs to develop appropriate care plans, and manage resources efficiently, including staffing levels, medical supplies, and equipment. You will be required to have proven leadership skills in aged care or health care management as well as a high level of clinical experience.
What you can expect: Exceptional senior operational support from regional and head office Enjoy working with autonomy and accountability in this role Hospital and Rest Home care services, a well-established site Monday to Friday schedule with availability to be on-call during weekends $105k + depending on experience What you need to do: Manage all aspects of the aged care facility, ensuring compliance and quality standards as well as creating a home environment Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members Lead by example, creating and motivating a cohesive team Develop senior staff to deliver exceptional clinical support Maintain bed occupancy to be a viable functioning unit Ensure the most efficient use of human resources and materials What you need to have: Proven experience in aged care Ability to build and maintain positive relationships Strong clinical background preferred Experience in audit management and compliance Established networks within the local community Prior staff management experience, including rostering Are you an experienced or aspiring Facility Manager looking for an exciting opportunity?
