As key holder, the role includes:
Opening, locking and securing the premises as part of your day/evening duties.Patrolling all areas of the college campus, responding, reporting, and dealing with any security issues.Assisting in general maintenance requests and general external housekeeping and groundworks.Viewing/accessing CCTV as and when requested.In the event of a security incident, keeping in regular radio contact with security staff and the Estates & Facilities Manager.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the college Estates & Facilities department.
The successful candidate will be required to possess a 3-day First Aid at Work certificate or willing to work towards it within 6 months. It is desirable that the candidate will also possess:
An IT qualificationLevel 2 Equality & DiversityNVQ level 3 in Facilities ManagementPAT training or willingness to work towards it within 12 months.This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
