Oversee and manage all services and functions relating to facilities management of buildings and common areas of Wellesley Apartments in Auckland.Job DetailsFull Time opportunityOversee facilities management for UniLodge Wellesley Apartments, AucklandFoster a positive, productive, and accountable work environmentNEW OPPORTUNITYWe have a new opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Wellesley Apartments team on a full-time permanent basis (40 hours per week across Monday to Friday). Your role will be responsible for the planning, leadership, operations, and management of the Wellesley Apartments facilities business and staff, and for delivering agreed business objectives.ABOUT YOUYou are a natural leader with a proactive approach and demonstrated technical knowledge of property assets. You are committed to maintain properties to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company.Key to your success will be your proven facilities management experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate all OH&S issues and systems, including emergency management planning and contractor management. Ideally, you will have experience in one of the property sectors. It's important that you're a strong communicator and shall actively champion fostering a safe, secure, and healthy living environment for all students.Key responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:Accountable for managing the delivery of all Facilities Management services; stakeholder and service contractor management across Cedar Pacific properties.Maximise the financial return to UniLodge and the Owner.Assist the Property Manager Operations (PMO) in a variety of tasks including but not limited to business planning for the building.Conduct tenders, negotiate and implement service agreements on behalf of the owners.Contractor management to ensure organisational and legislative health, safety, and environment obligations are met.Manage risk management, OH&S procedures and policies, and undertake sustainability initiatives.Administration and accounting, including reporting.In addition, you will have:Previous leadership experience in the accommodation industry.Experience with facilities management (highly regarded).Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve & manage conflict.A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences.The ability to have a hands-on approach to facilities management.NZ Police Vetting (required).WHY UNILODGEUniLodge specialise in student accommodation and have been an industry market leader since 1996.
