The Facilities + Maintenance division work with prestigious clients on managing and maintaining many high-end apartment and commercial properties. The role provides exposure and career development in the construction and property management areas for the right candidate.
Job Description # Primary Function: The role involves working on a wide range of building maintenance tasks, ranging from undertaking day to day building repairs to small alteration/fit-out projects. Much of this work also requires co-ordination of multiple sub-trades and project management. The work is generally in or around occupied commercial office/apartment properties, therefore a high level of professionalism and excellent customer relations is required. This is a permanent full-time position, the hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm, with additional overtime hours required when necessary.
**Knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes:** * You are a dependable, energetic self-starter with a proven trades background as the role is varied. * You enjoy being on the tools performing maintenance tasks, problem solving and management of small projects. * Possess a good knowledge of the work required by other trades. * The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of time/cost management and an ability manage small works from inception to completion. * Health & Safety is paramount and you will need to ensure all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with the Company ' s Health & Safety Policies.
