The Facilities DevOps Engineer will work with a highly focused, motivated team to ensure all One NZ Technical Facilities are maintained and repaired to the highest standard possible to ensure reliability and resilience of the network.
Ko to mahi – what you'll doManage Incident, Change & Problem tickets to achieve agreed KPI's.Ensure proactive maintenance/repair activities are carried out to high standard to achieve network stability, agreed performance metrics and reduce customer impacting events.Build of F&S capital projects when required as part of FY capital plan.Manage internal, vendor & support contractor relationships to achieve efficient and effective outcomes for customers by reducing mean time to repair.Support/Participate in 24x7 callout roster as required for Facilities & Simplification Team.Na tou rourou - what you'll bringAt least 5 years' experience in the Telco industry (or similar).A registered Electrician with experience in industry in NZ or Australia (evidence required).Reliability and ownership; you will be responsible for end results, as well as the experience of impacting internal & external customers on the way.Flexibility to work an on-call roster.Able to collaborate with colleagues effectively and inspire others to ensure achievement of a common goal.In-depth knowledge of Telco Power and Building technologies and products & services, whilst not a requirement, is a preference.Expert knowledge of Standby Power architecture and excellent fault analysis capability.At One New Zealand, we have a clear purpose to unlock the magic of technology to create an awesome Aotearoa.
