As a Skilled Welder, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including welding across stainless steel, alloy, mild steel, and wrought iron. Your work will range from sheet metal fabrication to heavy wall projects, with some structural steel involved. You'll have the chance to contribute to architectural and bespoke projects that are noteworthy and locally renowned.
Welding: Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding across various materials including stainless steel, alloy, mild steel, and wrought iron. Fabrication: Work on sheet metal and heavy wall projects, ensuring high-quality results. Project Work: Engage in architectural and bespoke projects, contributing to some of the most prestigious local undertakings. Structural Steel: Handle some structural steel tasks as required. Self-Sufficiency: Read and work from complex engineering drawings independently, without direct supervision. About you: Experience: Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, with the ability to handle a variety of materials and project types. Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. Work Ethic: A self-sufficient worker who thrives in a dynamic and varied role.
