Fabricator, Christchurch, £20 per hour Purpose As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components and structures. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you will use your technical skills to cut, shape, and weld a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel, to create high-quality components. Fabrication experience is essential for this role; however, our client will consider different levels of experience. Employer Rubicon is working with a leading provider of aerospace and metal fabrication services, specialising in the design, manufacture, and assembly of metal components. Standard hours are Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:30, Fri (there is some flexibility with these hours). Benefits for this Fabricator role include: Competitive pay with overtime opportunities Increased holiday - 25 days + Bank Holidays On-site parking Ongoing training and development programs Career advancement opportunities Company pension scheme Friendly and supportive work culture Key Duties as a Fabricator: Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal components to required specifications Using hand and power tools, including grinders, shears, and plasma cutters Operating machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, and welding equipment Performing MIG/TIG welding and spot welding as required Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Your Experience as a Fabricator will Include: Proven experience as a Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker Understanding of MIG/TIG welding Strong understanding of metalworking techniques and tools Ability to work with stainless steel and aluminium Competence in reading blueprints and technical drawings Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work independently or as part of a team Interested?
