Southern Institute of Technology - Business Division of Te PukengaWe are seeking expressions of interest for suitably qualified people to act as facilitators for our SIT2LRN programmes.
As a facilitator, you are required to:Provide academic and pastoral support to students by distance.Deliver online correspondence and web-based tutorials that assess students' work according to given assessment schemes and provide written feedback to help students in their learning.Monitor the study progress of students.Review assessments and content for further improvements.To be successful, you must have:An appropriate tertiary qualification that is one level higher than the level being taught.Professional experience in an appropriate subject area is preferred.Relevant educational qualification, e.g., New Zealand Certificate in Adult Education Level 5.Excellent computer and internet skills, with experience in learning management systems being an advantage.We are currently seeking expressions of interest in the following subject areas:Agriculture and HorticultureAnimal CareBusiness and ManagementCommunicationsEducationHealth SciencesHuman Resource and CoachingHealth and SafetyProject ManagementPhotographyScreen ProductionSport and ExerciseTourism and TravelIf you meet the above requirements and are ready to take the next step in any of the above subject areas, please submit your resume and a cover letter expressing your interest to the SIT2LRN EOI email.
