We are excited to open our Expression of Interest for permanent, part-time Baggage, Loader, and Aircraft Cleaners to start in the New Year from February 2025!
What will you be doing?
Baggage Handlers and Loaders: You will work within a close team loading and unloading passenger bags for both arriving and departing flights.
You will have the ability to accurately read bag tag information as well as drive baggage to and from our aircraft.
You will be working behind the scenes at Auckland Airport in a busy environment, continually lifting bags, so being fit and enjoying working in a physical role is crucial.
Aircraft Cleaners: This is no ordinary cleaning role.
You will be working as part of a dedicated team of individuals who ensure our aircraft are well maintained for safety and comfort.
You will be tasked with cleaning duties and responsible for the presentation of our aircraft.
With aircraft departing and arriving at all hours, you will be working to tight deadlines, so teamwork is a must.

You will be working with and learning from amazing Air New Zealanders who will show you the ropes as you learn new roles and have fun along the way.
Minimum Requirements: Eligible to work and live in New Zealand permanently (New Zealand/Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident) You must hold a NZ Full Licence at the time of submitting your online application At least 2 years' work experience in a physical or cleaning role Be flexible and committed to work rostered shifts This is a permanent role with up to 35 rostered hours per week and a minimum of 25 hours per week.
Overtime will also be available at times.
You will be working on a rotating roster, so flexibility is key!
The shifts can range between the hours of 4:00 am and 2:00 am, and you will be required to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, and public holidays if rostered.
