Job Description ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is proudly New Zealand owned and operated and are a market leader in the rural and construction sectors. They manufacture and distribute a wide range of high-quality steel products including wire farm fencing which is exported around the globe. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the current sales team based in Christchurch. You will optimise sales by managing the customer interface and using yourinternational freight and logistics experience to support our rural products in international markets. The role will suit someone who enjoys the diversity of trading in different cultures, flexible work hours and able to respond quickly to communications of differing time zones. ABOUT YOU Having dealt in International markets and ideally having a freight forwarding/supply chain/logistics background you will need to be friendly, approachable, disciplined and self-motivated with high attention to detail, you will also have the below attributes; Key account management and growth from existing clients Initiating new business opportunities and implementing sales strategy Customer and supplier relationship building Working effectively with colleagues to ensure KPI's are met and surpassed Relevant tertiary qualifications in business or international business International sales experience An affinity with and preferably direct experience with the products The ability to travel internationally when required An intuitive, engaging and outgoing personality A natural relationship builder who establishes credibility quickly Ambition, drive and determination combined with worldly commercial acumen The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Strong systems skills and knowledge of MS applications - especailly excel The ability to pick up new products and learn quickly Experience in the rural sector and/or rural fencing products would be an advantage SOUND LIKE YOU?
